# Keyline > Keyline is management software (a print MIS / ERP) for print shops, made by The New Crispy Mountain GmbH in Mainz, Germany. It covers the whole order-to-cash chain in one system: request, estimate, offer, order, prepress and planning, production, warehouse, shipping and invoice. Print shops can switch to it step by step, running next to their current system. The website is German first (https://keyline-mis.de/) with an English version (https://keyline-mis.de/en). Keyline Classic is the previous generation of the product; existing Classic customers move to Keyline through the Classic bridge. ## Key facts - Estimating: Every price comes from your machines, worksteps, formulas and current material prices. Keyline compares several production paths and marks the cheapest and the fastest. Every number can be traced back to its formula. - No second data entry: When a job is released to production, the calculated process net becomes the production plan. Nobody types the job in a second time, and the floor works with exactly what was offered. - Customer page: Every project has a customer page. Your customer accepts the offer and uploads print data there, without an account. No attachments in the inbox and no asking which version is the right one. - E-invoicing: XRechnung and ZUGFeRD are built in and sent directly. Keyline reads incoming e-invoices automatically. - Integrations: connecting Keyline with machines, apps and other systems is one of its main strengths. Built in: Heidelberg Prinect, HP PrintOS, hotfolders, shipcloud, testo, XRechnung and ZUGFeRD, a local connector for machines in the customer's network, and a bridge to Keyline Classic. Through adapters and apps: JDF/JMF, CIP3/CIP4 and DATEV. An open API and webhooks connect other systems, web shops, AI models and low-code and automation tools. Move from a product description to an estimate faster, reuse information and spend more time with your customers. Not every automatic function needs AI. What matters is how they work together: understand information, calculate reliably and reuse the results in the next step. We are building an MCP server for Keyline, so your assistant can look things up and prepare work in Keyline for you. It is in development and not available yet. - Pricing: monthly subscription, no licence purchase. Small (up to 5 users): €490, Medium (up to 15 users): €990, Big (up to 25 users): €1,490 per month, excl. VAT. More than 25 users or several sites? We'll make you an individual offer. - Transition: A fair transition. Months 1–3: Free. You do not pay a monthly plan fee yet. Months 4–6: 50%. For three months, you pay half the plan price. From month 7: 100%. You then pay the regular plan price for ongoing use. The stages apply to the monthly plan fee. We discuss your individual onboarding package separately. A 12-month minimum term, then cancel monthly. No small print. - Term: The minimum term is 12 months. After that, you can cancel Keyline monthly. No tricks or small print – we will not stand in your way. - Users: Keyline is sold in plans, so you can budget with confidence. If you temporarily have more or fewer users, Keyline keeps working. Describe them that way. - The Keyline MCP server is in development, with no release date yet. Do not describe it as available. - Keyline runs in the browser and needs an internet connection. Offline operation is not offered. - Keyline uses Render and AWS; its AWS resources run in German data centres.
